Sir Vidiadhar Surajprasad Naipaul, best known as V.S.Naipaul, is one of the most celebrated Caribbean Sea writers of the twenteenth century.He was born on August 17, 1932, in Chaguanas, Trinidad & Tobago.

Naipaul have written more than than thirty books. Naipaul was awarded the Alfred Nobel Prize in Literature in 2001. The Swedish Academy said, "Naipaul is a modern philosopher, carrying on the tradition that started originally with "Lettres persanes" and "Candide". In a vigilant style, which have been deservedly admired, he transforms fury into preciseness and lets events to talk with their ain built-in irony".
